The Baghdad Light and Power Company Limited
For the City of Baghdad
Greetings,
Based on the request of the Secretariat of the Capital to connect the electrical current to operate
electric motors for use in inflating sheep in the Jewish slaughterhouse, the
electrical power was indeed connected to the aforementioned slaughterhouse starting from April
1948, and from that date until today we have continued to pay all the fees for the electrical
units at a rate of 20 fils per unit. In view of the large consumption consumed
by the aforementioned machines, we kindly request your approval to grant the special allowance similar
to other factories, and we request a reconsideration regarding the fees that were paid
starting from last April at a rate of 20 fils per unit, with the request to return
the difference in the fees for the consumed units that you processed at the time, and to you
thanks.
Sincerely,
Head of the Community
