Preliminary Decision
The Presidency of the Community had addressed a letter to each of the lawyers, Messrs. Abbas al-Azzawi, Salman al-Kabir, and Yehudi Setti,
under number T/7856 and dated 7/12/1952, requesting them to attend its headquarters to provide their legal opinions as an interpretation and clarification of the
ambiguous points in the endowments of the late Menachem Salih Daniel, Heskel Menachem Daniel, and Ezra Menachem Daniel, on 12/12/1952.
At the appointed time, the lawyers Abbas al-Azzawi and Yehudi Setti attended, while the lawyer Salman al-Kabir did not attend. The
ambiguous points in those endowments were presented to them, and they expressed their legal opinions according to the written memorandum dated 23/12/1952 and registered under
incoming number J/1032 dated 29/12/1952. In view of the above, the following was decided:
The Decision
1- Approval to pay ten dinars to each of the lawyers Abbas al-Azzawi and Yehudi Setti as fees for their efforts in providing the legal interpretation
for the ambiguous points in the endowments mentioned above.
2- The aforementioned amount shall be paid from the revenues of the endowments of the late Ezra Menachem Daniel and Heskel Menachem Daniel for the fiscal year 52-53 in equal halves.
