General Power of Attorney
I, the undersigned, Rabbi Sassoon Khedouri, in my capacity as President of the Hebra Qadisha Association
in Baghdad and in addition to this position of mine, have appointed Lawyer Majeed Hamad al-Najjar as a general
power of attorney to initiate all lawsuits belonging to the association and to enter into all existing lawsuits and those that will arise
for or against the association in Sharia, civil, and commercial courts, and all special committees and councils and courts
specialized ones, and he has the right to litigate and defend by way of settlement, at first instance, appeal, and cassation, in presence and in absentia, as a plaintiff,
defendant, third party, objector, respondent, and third-party objector, by way of dismissal, restitution, correction,
original and incidental third-party objection, disqualification of judges, determination of reference, jurisdiction, and function, and requesting the transfer
of the lawsuit from the court to the administration and vice versa or to another court, and he may follow up on all types of interests belonging
to the association in all official or semi-official councils and bodies, and he shall have the right to notify and be notified, clarification,
oath-taking, objection, appeal, cassation, correction of decisions, and requesting a retrial, and he has all that is
required for the progress of the lawsuit; he has the right to <del>reconciliation, arbitration, and exoneration</del> selection of experts and supervising them
and their reports, and he may dismiss them repeatedly, and he has the right to request inspection, carry out application and handwriting analysis and object
to it, request default judgments, present evidence and defenses and discuss them, and contest what the adversary submits in
the lawsuit, and he has the right to challenge witness testimony and request compensation, and he may submit petitions under his signature
and briefs and issue notices at the Notary Public, and he has the right to place and lift precautionary and executive seizures, and he has
the right to receive notifications, bonds, and other papers and execute them at the execution departments, request imprisonment and evacuation, and request
vacation of leased property and removal of possession and granting a grace period and installment of debt, and he has the right to delegate others for everything he was delegated for.
In conclusion, the aforementioned lawyer is an agent for the Hebra Qadisha Association in everything mentioned, and upon this I have signed.
