Respected Dr. Maurice Saltoun,
After greetings,
The Administrative Committee has reviewed your letter dated 9/2/1960 regarding your objection to the deduction of 27
dinars from your invoice.
1 - No doubt you know well that the Community has protocols for treating patients, and these protocols require the doctor not to
treat any patient without consulting the Community Leadership, except in emergency cases, provided the Community is notified of this on the
next day at the very least to obtain authorization. What you have done in the three cases mentioned in your letter
is contrary to this rule, and you know well that when the followed protocols are not adhered to, it results in chaos and confusion
in the administration; therefore, we request doctors to adhere to this rule.
2 - All doctors of the Community Leadership receive a flat fee of one dinar for their visits to patients' homes
and hospitals, while you requested in your invoice a fee of two dinars for each visit you made to the patient Youssef
<del>Naji</del> in the hospital. Nevertheless, the Committee has decided, in order to remove the complaint and resentment mentioned in your said letter <del>⟦illegible⟧</del>
<del>to pay the amount of</del> 27/- dinars. Provided that you adhere in the future to the instructions of the Community Leadership, and no
amount will be paid to you in the future if you violate this rule, and visitation fees at homes and hospitals will be calculated
for you in the future at a rate of one dinar, similar to other doctors.
Please accept our highest respect,
The President

Greetings,
The Administrative Committee has reviewed your letter dated 9 / 2 / 1960 regarding your objection to the deduction of 27/-

1 - No doubt you are well aware that the Community has protocols for treating patients, and these protocols require the doctor
not to treat any patient except with a permit from the Community leadership, except in emergency cases, provided that the Community is contacted
about it on the following day at the latest to obtain the permit. What you have done in the three cases mentioned
in your letter is a violation of this rule, and you know well that failure to adhere to the followed protocols results in chaos.
Therefore, we hope you will adhere to this rule in the future.
2 - The visits of Community doctors to patients' homes and hospitals are charged at a rate of one dinar only,
whereas you submitted in your invoice for nursing the patient Yusuf Naji in the hospital a fee of two dinars for each visit.
Accordingly, the Administrative Committee has approved the payment of the mentioned amount to you, totaling 27/- dinars, provided you adhere
in the future to the instructions of the Community leadership. No amount will be paid to you in the future if you violate this rule
and treat patients without a permit. Furthermore, the fees for visits to homes and hospitals will be calculated for you in the future at a rate of
one dinar, similar to the rest of the doctors.
Please accept our highest respect.
