We attach herewith a copy of the income and expenditure account realized for the Ezra Menahem
Daniel Stadium from October 1, 1965, until September 30, 1966. We also attach a copy of the
stadium's financial position as of September 30, 1966, duplicated from the stadium records which were
audited by the stadium committee members and the auditors, Messrs. Whinney Murray & Co.
Salaries and wages constitute the largest part of the stadium's regular expenses,
amounting to 1363/- Dinars.
The stadium committee had borrowed from the Administrative Committee during the year ending
on September 30, 1966, an amount of 3518/200 Dinars, of which approximately
1700/- Dinars were spent for the paving of the basketball court and the re-installation of all stadium
electrical systems inside and outside the building. The Administrative Committee also paid audit fees to Messrs.
Whinney Murray & Co. amounting to 70/- Dinars on behalf of the stadium for the audit fees of the year ending
on September 30, 1966, which have been recorded to your account in the stadium records. Thus, the regular
expenses for the stadium for the entire year, excluding construction and installations, were about 2000/- two thousand Dinars.
The total stadium expenses, including the paving of the basketball court and the installation of
all stadium electrical systems for the above year, amounted to (3719/393 Dinars), while the income was
(183/500 Dinars), resulting in a deficit of (3535/893 Dinars). It is requested that this be charged
to the endowment of the late Ezra Menahem Daniel, and it is also requested to certify this realized budget so that
it acquires legal status.

We will emphasize to the stadium officer, Mr. Ezra Shakouri, the necessity of keeping a
record as accurate as possible of the names of participants from our school students and graduates,
as it is sometimes difficult to track stadium visitors due to their absence for a period
of time and their return again from time to time.
As for increasing the stadium's revenues, our committee will look into the possibility of increasing
subscription fees. Note that the prevailing belief among stadium members,
especially the graduated students, is that the endowment revenues belonging to the community
exceed the stadium's financial needs. Because of this erroneous belief, most of them
try to evade paying subscription fees most of the time.
