We enclose herewith a copy of the income and expenditure account for the Daniel
Stadium from October 1, 1965, to September 30, 1966, as well as the
financial position of the stadium as of September 30, 1966, duplicated from the audit
report by the stadium committee members and Messrs. Whinney Murray & Co.
Salaries and wages constitute the largest part of the stadium's regular expenses,
as they reached 1363/- Dinars.
The Stadium Committee had borrowed from the Administrative Committee during the year ending
September 30, 1966, an amount of 3518/200 Dinars, and about
1700/- Dinars of it was spent on the account of paving the basketball court and installing all the stadium's electricals
anew, inside and outside the building. The Administrative Committee also paid audit fees to Messrs.
Whinney Murray & Co. in the amount of 70/- Dinars on the stadium's account for the audit fees for the year ending
September 30, 1966, which were recorded to your account in the stadium's logs. Thus, the regular
expenses of the stadium for the entire year, excluding construction and installations, are about 2000/- two thousand Dinars.
The total stadium expenses, including the paving of the basketball court and the installation of
all the stadium's electricals for the above year, reached (3719/313 Dinars), while the income was
(183/500 Dinars), so the deficit is (3535/893 Dinars). It is requested that this be charged
to the endowment of the late Ezra Menachem Daniel, and it is also requested to certify this realized budget so that
it acquires legal status.
In this regard, we are pleased to have been able to perform what service we could for the sake of
the public interest and in implementation of the spirit of the endowment of the late Ezra Menachem Daniel.
