We convey to you below the note of the teacher Mr. Abdul Razzaq Shaker Al-Badri regarding some errors in the book
History of Your Country and Your Nation for the fourth primary grades, fourth edition for the year 1372 - 1953.
Correction of an error
It was stated in the book History of Your Country and Your Nation in my hands for the fourth primary grades, written by Mr.
Hassan Al-Dujaili and Mr. Yusuf Yaqoub Maskouni, and supervised by Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Douri - fourth edition, printed
at Al-Ani Press in Baghdad for the year 1372 - 1953.
I say it was stated on page (33) of this book under the subject "Zarqa al-Yamama" - in the seventh line this -
phrase, which is: -
(A woman from Jadis named Afira stood up and began inciting her tribe to revolt and said to them, O Jadis)
And the meaning does not hold up with respect to the fifth and sixth lines on one hand, and with respect to the eighth line on the other hand, with the presence of
the phrase in the seventh line, and it must be crossed out and replaced with "O Jadis" -
(So when the men of Jadis heard her words, they became enthusiastic and jealous, and their master Al-Aswad stood up and addressed them and said to them, O Jadis).
