Paragraph ( 2 )
⟦line⟧ ( Salaries and Cost of Living )
Zaki Ibrahim, Munshi Yusuf, and Hamid Mahdi were each employed in the Radiology Department, and it was found at the time
that there was no justification for not paying the grant to them, as they receive a specific salary whether the salary is paid from the
hospital fund calculated on the staff list or deducted from the radiology revenues to be paid to them according to the terms of employment
of the ⟦contracted⟧ radiology doctor. The grant was paid according to the committee's decision made on 19 / 5 / 1948 according to
a list containing the names of those to whom the grant was paid.

Provisions - The classification of patients into three grades in terms of food exists and has been in practice previously according to
the regulations.

The committee's decision to waive the hospital's share of the marriage contract fee for Meir Sassoon was based on the approval
of the Lay Council at that time. ⟦End⟧

Subject / 83 Bottles for medical preparations - and others
Meir Elias Hospital
We have assigned tender No. 5021 on 6 / 1 / 50 in Table No. 613 for medical preparations and tablets etc.
Subject / 83 mute bottles and others for Meir Elias Hospital and since these bottles are not for medical preparations
and accordingly we have listed below
(Bottles with a capacity of 9 cost their capacity) - (7) bottles
We received a batch with a capacity of 75 kg from Rima Khedouri Hospital last June and since we do
not own such bottles and their prices are very expensive, we decided to return them to Rima Khedouri Hospital as they are
and we received the bottles instead of them and since we had sent these empty bottles to Rima Khedouri Hospital
according to Subject / 83 on 21 / 5 / 50 in the monthly report, we decided to recover the amount for these bottles from the account
and we have recovered their price in the accounts bottles
(Hospital administration bottles) - (6) bottles
According to our report these bottles are missing and perhaps they were confused in the accounts and maybe we sent them to the warehouse or to etc.
In the name of ⟦illegible⟧
(Urine bottles) - (B 5) bottles
These bottles are used to receive urine samples from patients and we have received the value in cash from the workers for the hospital
in the accounts and thus we have received their price

(Continuation of Notes)
The cost of restoring the Hacham Pasha house (for the year 526) was not mentioned in the revenue statement
(502) Dinars

Therefore, we see the necessity of including the mentioned budget and recording it in the annual account statements and auditing it according to
- Followed accounting procedures

- While the account was still ongoing in the records -
In addition, the amounts due to the department have not been collected from the tenants - at a time when
spending continues from the department's budget for the maintenance of the mentioned properties - from the department's budget
Just as there is still a deficiency in the amounts due to the department from the tenants that should have been
- collected at their scheduled times according to the issued instructions
And at the time when the mentioned accounts budget was in debt by an amount of ⟦illegible⟧ - ⟦illegible⟧ - Dinars
- at the end of the year
⟦illegible⟧ - The mentioned accounts budget reached at the end of last year - ⟦illegible⟧ Dinars
- in the mentioned records
- while the accounts budget - ⟦illegible⟧ - was ⟦illegible⟧
(61) Dinars
(Annual Accounts Budget Balance) -
By reviewing the records for the year 526 - it was found that the maintenance cost reached twenty hundred Dinars while the
accounts are still ongoing in the mentioned records until 3/31/528 while the budget has been closed in the records
And it was recorded at the end of the year 5000 - Dinars while the maintenance cost reached 73 Dinars, therefore we see
the necessity of recording the mentioned amounts in the records - while the budget for the year 526 - was not recorded in the records
And auditing them and recording them in the records - according to the receipts of the due accounts, the mentioned budget is still
- in the mentioned records for the year 505 - based on what was stated above
(51) Dinars
(Budget Balance) -

Dear ⟦Sawda'i⟧
The loan from Nuriel School
I have reviewed the account today in the ledger (see p. 282)
And it appears from the attached offsets wrapped by the teacher
That you have paid 9 installments of the principal loan, and these amount with
The interest to 9 × 155 = 1395 Dinars
And as shown in the letter from the Albert Sassoon School
Meaning 7 × 155 = 1085
The difference is 210 Dinars
Therefore, I hope for your assistance in this matter and to verify this difference yourself ⟦immediately⟧
And inform me
Sincerely
