To the Honorable President of the Basra Court of Cassation, Respectfully
The Appellant: Ibrahim Shamil, represented by attorney Salim Murad
The Appellee: Kamouna Subhi, represented by attorney Isaac Robin
Grounds for Appeal: Previously on 7/7/1947, I was notified of the judgment issued by the First Civil Court of First Instance in Baghdad
under number 27/947, which included obligating me to pay an amount of (50) Dinars upon the occurrence of divorce in public.
Therefore, since this judgment was prejudicial to my rights for the following reasons, I request its review in cassation and its reversal:
First - The lawsuit filed was for the purpose of annulling the cohabitation contract that was in public, and since I
had submitted a testament from my son that was not authenticated by her before our marriage contract in court ⟦illegible⟧
it should not pay attention to the Appellee's claim at all and considers this severed contract void.
In view of the Appellee's statement and the testimony of the conflicting and contradictory witnesses, it became clear later
to the aforementioned court that the form of cohabitation does not exist.
Second - Since it has been proven to the aforementioned court that the Appellee ⟦illegible⟧ without my knowledge
and this is considered a defect according to Sharia, and it is not permissible to contract a rejected moisture in the law, and this also
I had no knowledge of it until after filing this lawsuit and its violation of Article (⟦illegible⟧) of the Law of ⟦illegible⟧
⟦illegible⟧ and it is not permissible to grant these exorbitant costs ⟦illegible⟧ when one of the liars is present
detained above, so not paying attention to the content of this letter was contrary to the facts.
Summary - I request the summoning of the case files and their review in cassation, and the annulment of the decision by reversing the contested judgment
for the debt and the deficiency mentioned above, and returning the papers to the mentioned court for consideration and to issue
a judgment dropping the aforementioned obligation while charging the Appellee all costs
and fees.

A copy of the calendar for the Hebrew year 5707
Baghdad on the 20th - J - It is noted that the majority of doctors in Iraq are concentrated
in the capital and the main cities, which results in many areas such as villages and others lacking
them. This is what helps diseases to become entrenched in the villages.
His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs has addressed this problem and reinstated the Law
of Health Service, which mandates that doctors who are at certain grades must spend
certain years in the administrative units assigned to them by the government and prevents the
violating doctor from practicing his profession for a limited period. This measure is not limited to government
doctors but also includes private doctors, according to a plan aimed at distributing doctors
fairly to ensure their benefit is generalized to all residents.
Furthermore, the project aimed to do justice to the doctors who spend their service in the villages by committing
to constructing special houses suitable for their residence and reducing the minimum period for their promotion, as well as
securing the issue of their children's education.

What was mentioned in the Torah, the Talmud, and in the sayings of the ancestors
regarding the benefits and goodness of dates
1- The Torah counted date syrup (dibis) as one of the seven rivers that the Creator bestowed upon His creation.
2- Among the commandments of the Torah is that the people should go out to celebrate with the heart of the date palm (called Lulav in Hebrew)
during the Passover holiday.
3- It was mentioned in the Psalms (of the Prophet of God David), Chapter 92, that the righteous man grows like a date palm.
4- Talmud - Ketubot, page 10 ⟦illegible⟧
a- Dates revive the body, stimulate the appetite, satisfy the stomach, grant strength, and do not cause sluggishness.
b- Eating dates in the morning and evening is fine, but eating them at noon has no benefit.
c- Eating dates after lunch is like a bolt behind the door.
5- Talmud - Taanit, page 9 -
One of the great Talmudic rabbis (named Ulla) visited Iraq and saw a basket of dates being sold for a dirham in the markets.
He was surprised and said: A basket full of dates for a dirham, and yet people do not worship God?
6- And from the sayings of the ancestors -
Someone asked a man in Iraq: What is the best thing about your country? He answered: Dates. He asked: And then? He said: Dates
and that is enough. For we enjoy its various industries and drinks. We seek shade under its palm trees, and we treat our wounds
with its fronds, and from them we make types of vessels, mats, and servants' tools, and we feed the livestock with its pits, and we take
wood from the palm tree, and from its waste we use fuel, etc. - etc. ⟦......⟧

after the necessary construction for it is completed.
We hope that you will contribute to this vital project by sending one book by mail or
