4. Iraq State Baccalaureate Examination for Intermediate Education, in ⟦June⟧
1968, ranking 27th among 56 candidates from Frank Iny School. His marks in this
examination are shown in the 3rd column on page 2 of this reference.
5. The above candidate has also passed the French Language Examination of the
Diplome de Langue Francaise given by the Alliance Francaise de Paris and conduc-
ted in Baghdad by a special commission from the French Cultural Centre in May 1968.
In addition to the above, Emile E. David sat in June 1969 for the London
University G.C.E. Examinations in English Language, French Language and Pure
Mathematics at the Ordinary Level and in Classical Arabic at the Advanced Level.
The results of these examinations are expected to be announced by the British
Council in Baghdad, sometime in the first half of next October. The above candi-
date has high hopes of passing in ⟦all⟧ of them.
Prior to his joining Frank Iny Intermediate School in October 1965, Emile E.
David did six years of primary schooling at Menahem Daniel Primary School in Baghdad.
While in Frank Iny School and Shamash Secondary School, both of which are
under the same administration, the above candidate was always diligent and of good
character.
To give an idea of his present academic level, Emile E. David will have to do
one more year of Secondary School work in order to be able to pass the London Uni-
versity G.C.E. Examination in Additional Pure Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at
the Ordinary Level.
The above student is physically and mentally quite fit. I recommend him for
further studies abroad as a fairly good candidate.
