Based on the statement of the General Directorate of Education / Secondary No. 37912
dated 15 / 8 / 1962, it was decided as follows :-
1- Opening an intermediate school for boys in the Al-Sulaikh area behind the eastern embankment named
"Al-Sulaikh Intermediate School for Boys" with two classes in two sections, one section for the first grade
and one section for the second grade, provided that it shares attendance with Al-Nasir Primary School for Boys.
2- Opening an intermediate school for girls in the Al-Shammasiya area named (Al-Shammasiya Intermediate School
for Girls) with three classes in three sections, one section for the first grade, one section
for the second grade, and one section for the third grade, provided that it shares attendance with Jamila
Primary School for Girls.
This statement is effective from its date.

The Directorate of General Education / Secondary has decided to hold an exhibition for laboratory physics equipment on
Sunday, 9/9/1962, in the building of the High Teachers Institute located near the College of Education in Baghdad /
Al-Waziriyah. We request you to send available laboratory physics equipment made by teachers
(male and female) and students (male and female) themselves for the purpose of displaying them in the exhibition, provided that these devices
are functional and accompanied by a card explaining the name of the device and the name of its maker, and that these devices reach the administration of
the physics course at the aforementioned institute before 6/9/1962, and please confirm this to us.
