The elections for the Jewish General Council were held under our supervision
in accordance with the provisions of the law, and the persons whose names are recorded in the special
minutes and the general minutes, a copy of which is attached herewith, won the results and were considered members
of the Jewish General Council according to the provisions of the law. Please kindly notify the Presidency
of the Jewish Community of the matter.

Based on the decision of the Supervisory Committee for the election of the Israeli General Council
in Baghdad, the committee attended under the chairmanship of the President Mr. Sabih Mumtaz al-Daftari, Director General of Justice,
and the membership of Rabbi Salman Huqi Abboudi, the lawyer Ibrahim Abboudi Khazam,
the lawyer Anwar Zalkha, and Gurji Yosef Sahayek at ten o'clock in the morning on
Thursday, 10/14/1948, at the headquarters of the Israeli community. The ballot box
prepared for the election was brought, and after being viewed by the attending Rabbis, it was closed in due form, and the election began
until 10:20, when the end of the election was announced and the box was opened, and the
election ballots were taken out, numbering (eighteen) ballots. Then the names written in them were read
publicly and classified in due form. As a result of the classification, the persons whose names are written above received the votes
according to the numbers mentioned next to their names. In view of that, the majority of votes were won
by each of the Rabbis:
