To the Presidency of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Community in Baghdad, the respected
Subject - Khavar's lawsuit against ⟦the Presidency⟧
Greetings and respect.
The aforementioned person previously filed a lawsuit against the presidency of the community claiming compensation of 100/- Dinars for
the damages that occurred to her house as a result of the collapse of the adjacent house belonging to the respected community.
We argued in court that the plaintiff had previously filed another lawsuit on the same subject and obtained a judgment for its execution. But she
claimed that this damage occurred after filing that lawsuit, and the court conducted an inspection of her house and estimated damages at 40/-
Dinars. Based on our strong legal defense in court, she agreed to be given an amount of 25/- Dinars only, provided
that she bears all the expenses she spent on fees, inspection costs, car, and experts, which amount to about eight Dinars, on the condition
that she records in the lawsuit her full discharge of the community currently and in the future.
Therefore, I request you to kindly send a check in the name of Khavar Ali for the amount of 25/- Dinars to be presented to the Baghdad Conciliation Court, which in turn will record it
in the discharge and hand it over to the plaintiff to settle this case which has taken a long time, provided it reaches me before the hearing day falling on
