Copy of a decision issued by the Israeli Religious Court in Baghdad On 26 Sivan 5687 Meir Shaul Tweig appeared before us and claimed that his wife Salha, daughter of Menashi Yosef Yaqub Nahum, is cohabiting with a non-Jewish man named Mustafa al-Darzi Kirkukli, who has rented a courtyard for her, and at all times he goes and comes to her and sleeps at night with her. He saw him with his own eyes sleeping with her. We asked the aforementioned Salha if her husband's claim was true, and she answered: It is true that the mentioned person rented a house for her and goes and comes to her and sleeps with her, but it was out of the distress she was in, as she was left without shelter or rent for a courtyard that she had. We asked the aforementioned Meir: Did you with your own eyes see the mentioned person sleeping on top of her? And he answered that with his own eyes he saw the mentioned person sleeping on top of her.
