stood the honorable Mr. Yosef son of the late honorable R. Ezra R. Shlomo Cohen, may God protect him
and presented before us a marriage contract (Ketubah) that he has with his wife Mrs. Farha daughter of the late honorable R. Sasson R. Avraham
HaLevi, of blessed memory, from the 28th day of the month of Sivan, the year five thousand six hundred and ninety (5690) from Creation, here in Baghdad
which was written in the handwriting of R. Yitzhak HaLevi, of blessed memory. And he presented this document before us to certify and establish it. And after
we examined the mentioned document (which is in his hand), we found that all its words are correct and there is no defect or forgery in it
and the witnesses signed upon it are R. Yitzhak son of R. Eliyahu HaLevi, of blessed memory, and R. Yitzhak son of R. Avraham HaLevi, of blessed memory
and since the mentioned witnesses are not alive now as they have already passed away, we therefore needed to recognize their signatures
and behold, two valid witnesses came before us. The first, the honorable Mr. Yosef son of the late honorable R. Sasson R. Avraham HaLevi
and the second, the honorable Mr. Avraham son of the late honorable R. Sasson R. Avraham HaLevi, and they testified before us that the signature of the witnesses
mentioned is their signature known to them with complete clarity without any doubt at all.
