The Jewish Religious Court in Baghdad has decided to appoint the lawyer Saleh Murad
Qattan as a temporary guardian for the children of the deceased Maryam daughter of Rahmin.
We wish to draw the attention of your esteemed court to the fact that the reasons for the delay
in our responses in such cases are due to the failure of the interested parties to follow up with the Religious Court
so that it can conduct the necessary investigations regarding the guardians and curators to be appointed in order to protect
the rights of the minors.
We request your Excellency to kindly inform the concerned parties of the necessity of following up
on their cases with our Religious Court so that we can, through them, conduct the required investigation.
In the event that there is a person nominated for guardianship or curatorship, it is preferable that
their full name be provided along with the title and address so that we can conduct the necessary inquiries into their circumstances

731 on April 6, 731 in the lawsuit numbered 731 N / 1973
Based on the request submitted by the lawyer Mr. Kadhim Jawad on behalf of the plaintiff Saliha Daoud
requesting the correction of a material error contained in the decision of this court numbered above, which included the rejection of the
appeal in form for being submitted outside the legal period, and as it became clear to this court that Saturday
and Sunday, falling on April 7 and 8, were official holidays, and since Monday, falling on April 9,
was also an official holiday on the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday, therefore the legal period for submitting the appeal
ends on Tuesday, falling on April 10, and since the appeal brief was submitted on this day,
it is considered submitted within the legal period and therefore it was decided to accept it in form.
After scrutiny and deliberation, it was found that the appealed judgment is in accordance with Sharia and the law for the reasons stated therein.
