Conditions for Admission to Preparatory and Intermediate Schools
1 - Admission to the first intermediate grade depends on passing the general examination for primary studies, and admission to the fourth preparatory grade depends on passing the general examination for intermediate studies. A student who holds a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education that is equivalent to the studies they wish to enter is accepted.
2 - He must be known for good character and not convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. The school may request that he present a certificate to that effect from the school he was in, or the Mukhtar, or the police, as the principal deems appropriate.
3 - He must not have exceeded twenty years of age for entry into the fourth preparatory grade, or sixteen years for entry into the first intermediate grade. Evening school students are exempt from this.
