Description

These are archival documents from the Baghdadi Jewish community. Included are: a letter sent from a tenant to the president of the Administrative Committee for Iraqi Jews regarding a dispute on a deposit amount for leased shops; a letter from the Administrative Committee for Iraqi Jews to a tenant regarding paying rent; a warning letter from the Directorate of the Department of Palestinians (part of Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs) to the governing body of Iraqi Jews regarding depositing money for a house lease at a Baghdad solicitor's office; letters of lease disputes from other tenants to a Baghdadi Jewish property management company regarding payments; a letter from the taxation office to estimate the amount of property tax belonging to the Baghdadi Jewish community.
