The Discipline Committee met under the chairmanship of the School Principal on Sunday and Tuesday, January 11, 1959
and January 13, 1959, and decided to impose a temporary expulsion penalty for a period of three days on the students Sabah Saleh Moshi and Faraj
Youssef Hayawi Naqqash from the first intermediate class (A), starting from <del>Tuesday</del> Wednesday, January 14, 1959.
The committee also decided to deduct twenty points from the conduct average of each of them for committing acts disruptive to order
inside and outside the classroom on numerous occasions despite being warned repeatedly, and for failing to obey the orders
issued to them by the substitute and the administration immediately.
However, in view of the harm that their deprivation from school attendance would cause to their academic achievement, it was decided to suspend the execution
of the first part of the penalty and settle for deducting twenty points from their conduct average only, provided that the penalty is executed
in full upon the first violation committed by them.
This is with the knowledge that a student is considered to have failed his grade if (50%) or more is deducted from his conduct marks.
This is in accordance with Article (40) and Article (41) of the Secondary School Regulations for the year 1954.

Announcement
Please note the following regarding the borrowing of Arabic and English books:
1- It is not permissible to delay an Arabic book borrowed for more than one week, and an English book for more than
two weeks, noting that the student can renew the loan if there is no other
student interested in it.
2- If the student delays the book and does not renew its loan, ten fils will be charged for each day
after the end of the prescribed period.
3- It is not permissible to borrow more than one book, and whoever wishes to borrow another book must pay an amount
of a quarter of a dinar or more depending on the price of the book against a receipt, noting that the book may not remain
with the student for more than the prescribed period.
4- The borrower is obligated, if the book is lost or torn, to pay its price or buy another book in its place, and the administration
has the right to decide the price of the book in case it is not replaced.
5- Entering the library is strictly prohibited for non-students allowed to do so, and students must
receive and return books through the library window.
6- Books are collected from all borrowers fifteen days before the mid-year exam and fifteen days before the
final exam as well.
7- Books are not lent to anyone other than the school's male and female students.
8- Whoever wishes to borrow books during the summer vacation must pay a quarter of a dinar or more (depending on
the value of the book) as insurance for each Arabic or English book, and pay 150 fils for each children's
book. These books are collected from the borrowers fifteen days before the start of the school year,
and whoever is late in returning the books, 10 fils will be deducted from their insurance for each day the book is late.
9- The library welcomes every student who generously donates books to it.
