Announcement
Please note these instructions regarding the borrowing of books
1 - It is not permitted to delay the borrowed book for more than a week, and if students wish to renew the time beyond the week
they must register that at the end of the first week.
2 - If the registration is delayed beyond the specified time, ten fils will be charged for each day.
3 - It is not permitted to take more than one book.. and whoever wishes for more must pay a deposit for each book of a quarter dinar
according to a receipt paid to him, provided that the borrowing period for the second book does not exceed two weeks.
4 - It is absolutely not permitted to lend the borrowed book to anyone other than the borrower.. and whoever does so will be deprived of borrowing
any book.
5 - If the borrowed book is lost, torn, or any defect occurs in it, the person who borrowed it is responsible for that and shall compensate
for it with the price of the book or its equivalent value.
6 - It is absolutely not permitted to enter the library for the purpose of selecting a book; rather, books must be taken and returned from the library window.
7 - Books are not lent to anyone other than the school's male and female students.
8 - All books are collected fifteen days before the mid-year exam, as well as before the end-of-year exam by the same
period. During the summer vacation, a special system is established for the distribution of books.
Note:-
Anyone who kindly gifts books in excess of their needs to the library, their name will be published with thanks and the names of the books
gifted in the weekly school bulletin... and the name of the donor is recorded on the ⟦manuscript⟧/ submitted books as well, with
reference to the name of the donor and the names of their gifted books in the special gifts register.

Naqqar Prizes
1 - In view of the division of the first intermediate class this year into two separate sections, the French section
and the English section - it has been decided to observe the following regarding the distribution of priority and excellence prizes for this class,
or for any class that may be in the same situation in the future.
First - Giving one prize to the first among the students of the first French class and another prize to the first among the students of the
first English class, provided that the final grade average for either of the two first-place winners is not less than the final grade average
of the student who comes second in terms of ranking in the other section.
Second - Giving one prize for the most exemplary among the students of the first French class and another prize for the most exemplary among the students of the
first English class.
2 - If <del>⟦illegible⟧</del> any student deserves three of the Naqqar prizes in one year, the administration will present them
with a fourth prize from the school fund called the Honor Prize. Prix d'honneur and this prize
will be in the form of a valuable item.

The school administration has decided to impose the penalty of expulsion for a period of one week starting from Friday, 23 - 1 - 1953
on the student Jack Haron Sheena from the first intermediate grade due to his bad behavior in the French language lesson, with a deduction of twenty
points from his conduct grade. According to Article (55) of the Secondary Schools Regulation No. (31) for the year 1952, provided that a copy
of it is kept in the student's file. Note that the student is considered to have failed if 51 points are deducted from his conduct grades.
