Announcement
It is no secret that the system of this school requires the student to spend seven years in the
primary section before joining the first grade of intermediate study. The purpose of this is to strengthen
the student's knowledge in foreign languages and arithmetic in particular, so that he can follow his studies
in the preparatory section in a way that guarantees him a satisfactory future as a result of his studies in this school.
Although the school administration does not wish to deviate from this principle, we see that some students
have sufficient ability in terms of intelligence to complete primary education in a period of six years instead of
seven years, with these students reaching their potential in this school upon completing their primary studies
within this period.
In a desire to encourage this type of student and out of concern for their interest, we have decided to allow them
the opportunity to be promoted from the fifth grade (B) primary to the sixth grade primary directly
(without attending the fifth grade (A)) provided that the student fulfills the following conditions:
First - The student must obtain an average of 75% in all his subjects in his final grades
at the end of the year. The grades for Religion and Drawing are not included in the calculation of this average.
Second - The student must not fail any subject, including Religion and Drawing.
Third - The student who has met the conditions mentioned above must pass, at the end of
the summer vacation, an entrance exam in the French language and foreign arithmetic (Calcul)
such that the level of this exam is equivalent to the level of sixth-grade primary students.
If the student does not succeed in this exam, he will be obliged to join the fifth grade
(A) instead of the sixth grade.
The administration hopes that this arrangement will be an incentive for the students of the primary section of this
school to be diligent and persevere in their studies at the various stages of the years of study.
