Special Provision Governing the Award of Certificates Private candidates who sit at centres in certain countries and who, at the time of entry, do not hold a qualification which exempts them, are required to pass in three subjects including English Language or in three subjects with a satis- factory standard of attainment in English Language (grades F or G) in order to qualify for a Certificate. The words "Certificate will not be issued" will appear at the bottom of the form overleaf whenever such a candidate fails to qualify for the award of a Certificate.
