This is archival material in from the Baghdadi Jewish Community containing documents related to a legal case dealing with the disbursement and management of an endowment from the Daniel family. It includes court testimony, correspondence with the local endowment administrating official, the Jewish Lay Council, the President of the Jewish Community, school administrators; and the transfer of management of the waqf. There are original title property deeds dated 1924-1931.

Statement
1 - This permit must be kept at the construction site when building begins for presentation to Municipality officials when necessary.
2 - The holder of this permit is authorized to carry out the works listed therein and according to the plan marked on the permit paper.
3 - The height of the interior door threshold of the house must not exceed "30" centimeters from the current road level or from the level determined by
the technical officer.
4 - All measures and precautions must be taken that would prevent any damage occurring to what might be found—during the permit holder
or their representative's execution of the works listed therein—of historical buildings and other movable archaeological materials that indicate art, science,
craft, history, religion, or literature, etc. The permit holder must inform the Department of Antiquities immediately before touching the aforementioned antiquities or moving them from their places.
5 - It is forbidden to place building materials of all kinds, soil, and debris on public roads outside the boundaries specified below according to the wording of Article "29"
of the Roads and Buildings Regulation.

6 - Projections must be observed according to the wording of Article Twenty-Five of the Roads and Buildings Regulation.
7 - Article 38 — The property owner must begin construction within six months from the date the permit is issued; if they do not begin during that time or began and more than
one year has passed since the aforementioned date, they must request confirmation of its contents again within ten days, otherwise it shall be considered cancelled.
8 - Violators shall be subject to the provisions of the Roads and Buildings Regulation No. 44 of 1935 and its amendment No. 56 of 1936.
