Based on what was stated in the decisions of the Medical Committee 24 and taken in its meeting ⟦illegible⟧ and ⟦illegible⟧
And the judge ⟦illegible⟧ on 14/1/48 and 4/4/948, Dr. Yusuf Qattan is appointed in the institutions of
The Health Committee according to the following conditions starting from the date he commenced work on 22/2/948
(1) The doctor receives a monthly salary of 20.000 Dinars, to which is added cost-of-living increases
in the amount of 7.500 Dinars monthly according to the followed scale.
(2) The Committee confirms that the aforementioned doctor shall work at present in Mar Elias Hospital, provided he is given one
day each week in the afternoon at the hospital in addition to the outpatient clinic, and the aforementioned
shall perform his duties according to the instructions and orders issued by the Committee from time to time.
(3) The aforementioned is granted an annual regular leave of one month and performs his duties according to
the conditions contained in the decision of this Committee numbered (1) and dated 22/7/947 and from
sick leave in the amount of one month per year.
(4) This agreement shall be valid for a period of two years starting from the date he commenced the work mentioned above
and both parties may terminate it before the end of its term by notifying the second party with a written
notice of three months.

You will find below a copy of the letter from the Ministry of Social Affairs regarding the employment of Dr. Yusuf Qattan
in the position of a physician at Meir Elias Hospital in Baghdad for your information and action accordingly.
Therefore, please instruct the mentioned physician to attend the office of this General Directorate
to carry out his registration process based on Article Four of the Law for Practicing Medicine in Iraq of the year
1925 and its amendments ⟦line⟧ .
