Second Party - Mr. Sabri Rashid, Al-Kolat Quarter. An agreement was reached on a lease contract for the vacant plot numbered 210 Kolat between the First Party and the Second Party under the conditions following :- 1 - The First Party has leased the vacant plot located in Al-Kolat quarter sequence (210) to the Second Party for a period of ten years starting from 8/12/1959 (the eighth day of the month of December of the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine AD) to the end of 7/12/1969 (the seventh of the month of December of the year one thousand nine hundred <del>and nine</del> and sixty-nine AD) for an annual rent of -/125 dinars (one hundred and twenty-five dinars) to be paid at the beginning of the lease of each year. The Second Party undertakes to construct a building at a cost of no less than -/2000 dinars (two thousand dinars) on the mentioned vacant plot. The Second Party undertakes to pay all taxes on the mentioned building during the lease period, such as the property tax, sewerage, paving, as well as all taxes that may be imposed in the future on the mentioned building. The Second Party is responsible for the maintenance of the mentioned building during the lease period and must hand it over in good condition to the First Party. The Second Party must hand over the leased building to the First Party free of all occupancies upon the expiration of the lease contract on the date of 7/12/1969 (the ninth of the month of December of the year one thousand nine hundred and sixty-nine AD) and must hand over all necessary receipts that confirm his payment of all taxes he is responsible for during the lease period starting from 8/12/1959 to 7/12/1969.
