And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that -
God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines,
for that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure
the people repent when they see war, and they return
to Egypt: But God led the people about, through the way of
the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of
Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt. And Moses took
the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn
the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit
you; and ye shall carry up my bones
away hence with you. And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped -
in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. And the Lord went
before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them
the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light;
to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar
of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before
- the people. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp
before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea,
over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

For I know that after
my death you will surely act corruptly and turn aside
from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall
you in the latter days, because you will do
what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, to provoke Him through the work
of your hands. And Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of
Israel the words of this song, until
their conclusion: Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and let the
earth hear the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender grass,
and as the showers upon the herb. For I will proclaim the name of the Lord;
ascribe greatness to our God. The Rock, His work is perfect;
for all His ways are justice; a God of faithfulness and without
iniquity, just and right is He. Is corruption His? No,
His children's is the blemish; a generation crooked and perverse. Do you
thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is
not He your father who has bought you? He has made you and established you. Remember

And sermonize
And you shall write at the end of these four verses Parashat Vayishlach
which our Sages found in the Tikkunei HaZohar and it is written
that in every portion there is a hint to the future to come
and this is their language in Tikkunei HaZohar page 133 side b
<del>and this is</del> It was taught, Rabbi Yehuda says in every family
and family, Rabbi Yitzchak said in every chapter and chapter
and in every verse and verse of the Torah there is in it
a hint to the future to come and a hint to our righteous Messiah
that which is written And Jacob said to his household and to
all who were with him, remove the foreign gods etc.
And this is a hint to the future to come that the Holy One Blessed Be He will remove
the spirit of impurity from the earth and this is And he said
to his household and to those who were with him, these are Israel
who are His people etc. and everything written there in Tikkunei
HaZohar page 133 side b and also in Tikkunei HaZohar
page 103 side a he wrote and these are his words: And in every verse and verse
of the Torah there is in it a hint to the future to come
And it is written at the end of these four verses etc.

I shall return to the same place where it was originally, and it is
the one where Adam was first, before his sin.
For he was in the Garden of Eden in this world,
and in this world, the Garden of Eden is other than that which is in
the heavens, for that which is in the heavens is
the world of souls, but as for that which is on the earth,
<del>it is that in which Adam was</del> then it is other
than that; it is a place on the earth in which there are
pleasant scents and precious trees.
<del>other than that</del> And as for that which is in the heavens, it is
the world of souls only. And that place
which is on the earth is that in which
the righteous shall be after the resurrection in this world.

And our Sages of blessed memory said: Anyone who engages in Torah for its own sake
merits many things; and not only that, but the entire world
in its entirety is worthwhile for him; and he is called friend, beloved, lover of
the Omnipresent, lover of humanity, one who gladdens
the Omnipresent, one who gladdens humanity; and it clothes him
in humility and fear, and it prepares him to be righteous,
pious, upright and faithful; and it distances him from sin
and brings him near to merit; and people enjoy from him counsel
and wisdom, understanding and strength, as it is said: "Counsel is mine
and wisdom; I am understanding, strength is mine"; and it gives him
kingship and dominion and investigation of judgment; and they reveal to him
the secrets of the Torah; and he becomes like an ever-strengthening spring and like a river
that does not cease; and he is modest and long-suffering and forgives
an insult to him; and it magnifies him and exalts him above all
works, etc. And this is what the verse says: Blessed be
our God who created us for His glory and separated us from those who stray,
and gave us the Torah of truth and implanted eternal life within us.
May He open our hearts to His Torah, and place in our hearts His love
and fear of Him, to do His will and to serve Him with a whole heart.
