Ibn al-Jawzi Primary School had submitted a memorandum regarding the
Geography book for the sixth grade, stating that there is confusion in the fourth line of page 130
where it states that the population of Hadhramaut is 30 thousand people, while it states in the summary on page 133 in
the seventh line that the population is 10 thousand people. We have inquired with the Directorate of General Technical
Affairs regarding this discrepancy, and their response is recorded below. Therefore, please notify all concerned
teachers of the matter to act accordingly.

After auditing the subject, we found that what was stated in the Geography book for the sixth primary grade
is correct, as the author means that the population of the coasts is ten thousand people
and it does not mean the population of Hadhramaut. In order to remove the confusion, we ask that you circulate this to your schools

To / Mr. Ishaq Cohen - Acting Director of Shamash Private Preparatory School
and Frank Iny Intermediate School
Based on the letter from the Directorate of General Education / Secondary / Private numbered
S / 2051 dated 26 / 6 / 1961.
In view of the detailed deficiencies in your school as reported by
the specialized inspector, Mr. Abdul Rasoul Najm, in his school report No.
11 dated 18 / 5 / 1961 during his visit to you, where he found:
1) That the school library contains a large number of books without an organized
clear register to know their type and quantity, which required you to prepare a special register
in the Arabic language and in two copies for reference when needed.
2) That the organization of some registers was done in a manner that is not consistent with instructions and protocols
followed in government schools, which requires immediate initiative to rectify
that and to work on implementing the recommendations of the specialized inspector.
3) The existence of some variation and discrepancy in the teaching of prescribed subjects and reducing their hours,
which constitutes an explicit regulatory violation, requiring you to be careful
to adhere to the provisions of the system and the observed instructions and apply them literally, and otherwise
necessary legal measures will be taken against you.
Accordingly, and based on the above, we warn you in advance and ask you to act
as quickly as possible to rectify the deficiencies; if this is not addressed,
harsher and more severe measures and penalties will be taken against you, which we do not hope for.
