We convey to you below the instructions for filling out the application forms for the University of Baghdad. Please review
and act accordingly. Attached are (40) university forms; please inform us upon receipt.

Your letter 824 on 22 / 7 / 1961 for your kind information
Certificates Supervision / in two copies
Please distribute them to the students who passed the first attempt for this year only (1960 / 1961)
in the secondary schools belonging to your province. As for students who will pass the second attempt, they shall not be given
the forms until after their exam results appear.
Please also note that graduates of primary teachers' training institutes and vocational schools -
do not fill out such forms. Instead, each of them submits a petition attached to their graduation certificate directly to us.
We clarify below the method to be followed in filling out these forms.
1- Every student wishing to enter the university (from secondary school graduates of this year only) fills out
the four forms inside the cover with all precision and mastery.
2- The school stamp is placed on the photograph, and the grades and total are certified by the school principal and the director
of provincial education as indicated on the forms.
3- The four forms placed inside the cover are handed over to the student himself, and he or his representative
submits them to the General Registration Directorate at the University of Baghdad after the application dates are announced over the radio
Iraqi and in local newspapers.
4- After the university announces the names of the candidates for admission, each of them submits the following documents to
the college or (institute) in which they will be accepted:-
1- Population register for the 1947 registration.
2- Iraqi Nationality Certificate.
3- Certificate of no criminal record for a non-political crime or a misdemeanor involving dishonor.
4- A medical certificate proving safety from communicable diseases.
5- Non-Iraqi students (Arabs and others), whether they hold the Iraqi secondary school certificate
or its equivalent, are not required to fill out these forms. Instead, each of them submits
a petition attached to the school certificate to our office.
6- Please emphasize that a student is not entitled to obtain more than one set of forms (four
forms in four colors placed inside the university cover) because their number is very limited. We suggest organizing
a list mentioning the name of every student to whom the forms were delivered.

1- It has been decided that the examination centers for the primary study, second session for the current year, shall be in accordance with the attached schedule.
2- The administrations of schools whose buildings have been chosen as examination centers, whether they are official, private, or foreign schools, must prepare school desks, halls, and classrooms well in advance of the examination time.

1 — It has been decided that the examination centers for preparatory studies — second session for the current
academic year shall be in accordance with the schedule attached herewith.
2 — School administrations whose buildings have been designated as examination centers, whether public, private,
or foreign, must prepare their school desks, halls, and classrooms well in advance of the exam date.
3 — Students shall be notified of their examination centers from now on, and this shall be posted on the school's notice board.
