You all know that our elder sister Egypt has been subjected to a sinful aggression in which she lost a significant number of her righteous sons who
were martyred in defense of the sacred Arab homeland. Many houses and public facilities were destroyed, and the struggling (Port Said) was subjected
to heavy losses as a result of this treacherous aggression, so a large number of our Egyptian brothers in Port Said and other Egyptian cities
became in need of the help of their brothers, a help that alleviates some of their pain and makes them feel that they have brothers in the greater Arab homeland who share with them
in prosperity and adversity. The Central Teachers Association has contributed an appropriate amount from its private fund, and it therefore calls upon the members of the teaching family
throughout Iraq to perform some of their duty towards our brothers in dear Egypt and to extend their hands by providing financial aid
as much as possible and sending what they donate to the High Committee at the Arab Bank in Baghdad.
