I.     A committee shall be formed of 3 or more members comprising:
(a) The class teacher concerned.
(b) A second teacher of English, if available, in the school.
(c) One or two outsiders mastering the English Language.
II.    The Committee will mark each paper according to the follow-
ing scale:

Conditions for selecting the best essay or best story in student competitions
First - A committee shall be formed of Arabic language teachers in the school and one or two external members who are proficient in
the Arabic language.
Second - The members of this committee shall assign grades to each essay or story according to the following scale: -

1- Method of starting the topic, its treatment, and the method of ending it. | 10
2- Writing style. | 20
3- Fulfilling the topic's due from a literary perspective and the significance of the topic. | 15
4- Correctness of phrases, their clarity, and accuracy with eloquence. | 20
5- Observance of the rules of morphology and grammar. | 20
6- Absence of spelling errors in the writing. | 15

General Remarks: -
1- The topic is given to the contestants by the school administration.
2- The topic is written inside the school under the supervision of the administration and teachers.
3- A specific time may be set for writing the topic and the number of words may be determined approximately
or they may not be determined, giving the student enough space to write.
4- If the time is not specified, students are allowed to take breaks for short intervals as needed.
5- Contestants are allowed to use a dictionary if they wish.
6- The winner of the prize designated for this competition must obtain at least 60% of the
grade.

First - A committee is formed of Arabic language teachers in the school and one or two external members who are proficient in
the Arabic language.
Second - The members of this committee assign grades to each essay or story according to the following scale: -
