21 - We have mentioned that special prizes have been designated, which we named the Prizes of Excellence and Distinction ... and now we shall begin
distributing these prizes to their deserving recipients:
Prizes of Excellence and Distinction
1) For the student - Ibrahim (Saadi) Munshi Ibrahim - from the fifth grade of Shamash Preparatory School - and the Prize of
Excellence which was allocated to him according to his wish - a wristwatch - for achieving distinction in three
consecutive years. Also, the Prize of Distinction which was allocated to him according to his wish - a Parker 51 pen -
for achieving first place in the ministerial and school examinations and special examinations over six consecutive
years in the primary, intermediate, and preparatory stages of study.
2) The student - Farid Salim Tawfiq - from the fifth grade of Shamash Preparatory School - and the Prize of Excellence which
was allocated to him according to his wish - a set of engineering drawing tools - for achieving distinction in three
consecutive years. Also, the Prize of Distinction which was allocated to him according to his wish - a Parker 51 pen -
for achieving first place in various examinations on four consecutive occasions in the intermediate and preparatory
stages of study.

- 22 - Now that the distribution of prizes has ended, we, in the name of the school administration and students, thank the head of the community,
His Eminence Rabbi Sassoon Khadhuri, for his kindness in distributing these prizes to those who earned them.
- 23 - The school administration has arranged for cars to transport the students to their homes, so students are requested
to board these cars from the back door of the school immediately upon their departure after the party ends
directly, in order to prevent crowding.
- 24 - Student Lily Kerji Shina from the fifth grade of Shamash Secondary School now steps forward to deliver her speech.
- 25 - And now, in the name of the school administration and students, we thank the honorable visitors who graced this party with their presence,
