My brothers, my sons,
Today marks the seventh anniversary of the valiant Algerian revolution, this
revolution that displaced colonialism before the explosion by the loftiness of its principles and that it
represents a people believing in their right with the faith of Saad, Khalid, Omar al-Mukhtar, and Shabib.
Nay, it represents a nation challenging all nations in an honorable struggle and a noble
fight for the sake of dignity, freedom, pride, and independence. How could it not be, when this
Arab history of yesterday, to whose glory and greatness nations submitted and whose white
pages remained a beacon for it, guiding its path toward strength, prosperity,
and sacrifice to break free from the shackles. The Arab nation has tried the highest
ideal in that before Islam, which destroyed it until the edifices of injustice
and tyranny were crushed, and it fought every tyrant who did not respect its rights nor acknowledge
its likeness from a giant except that it destroyed the halls of his courtyard.
And the revolution that takes pride today in victory, in appreciation and glorification, not for the defeat
of all Arabs, but rather the revolution of truth over falsehood which <del>by its ignorance</del> is demolished by it,
whether it lasts long or ⟦...⟧.
O blessed heroes of Algeria: You are the descendants of Prince Abdelkader who strove,
struggled, sacrificed, and terrified the tyrants with his groups for a year and taught them
harsh lessons they will not forget. Yes, you are against those usurpers who
⟦...⟧ or received those lessons and examples and did not learn from them, so to you the most intense

strength and might and they came to me with stubbornness and might other than it, you learned that the difficulties
surrounding you are arduous and the moments are terrifying, in which you were forged
for the sake of awakening the conscience of humanity, a hero dear and cheap to obtain
a natural right obtained by nations and peoples who had no mentionable significance
your glorious and bright history, how with their light and its brilliance your sacrifices stood
saying: And for the homelands, in the blood of every free man is a past hand and a deserved debt
The blood of the revolutionaries is known by its hills, and it knows that it is light and truth
Kingdoms are not submissive to victims, nor are rights built or written
For in the slain there is life for generations, and in the prisoners there is ransom and liberation for them
And for red freedom there is a door, knocked upon by every blood-stained hand
And the souls of the martyrs flutter over your heads, your mountains, your valleys, your cities, and your villages
And your voice in the sky of this war calls to the truth, to freedom, to the light
Indeed your souls, O our heroes, are to dignity, to the gardens of eternity, as every martyr
(And do not think of those who were killed in the cause of Allah as dead, rather they are alive with their Lord
receiving provision, rejoicing in what their Lord has given them)
My brothers, my sons: Indeed the human values and the ideals that our glorious
Arab nation carried its message against oppression and against the treacherous civilization
⟦the concern⟧ the legacy that began to spread and demand, does not acknowledge the values of justice
And our will, O ⟦heroes⟧, is only ⟦for the future⟧ for us and for our Arab nation yesterday
In defense of our protected city for our sons and our dear brothers

For this, with the help of God, has now passed, as the nation began to take up its cause, strengthening
Algeria's back under the shadow of humanitarian principles and ideas, and at
the forefront is our beloved Republic, led by its faithful leader, Abd al-Karim
Qasim, who continues to insist on supporting it until it attains its
triumphant share and obtains its just rights, and we believe that ⟦illegible⟧
and we soon, God willing
We have heard our free Arab nation, with its voice resounding with beauty,
telling the nations of the earth that it seeks a decent life and its right to catch up
to its place among nations, and that this will be achieved at the hands of its heroes and the protectors
of its roles in the field of struggle in the cells of Algeria. The Algerian revolution is nothing but
this model and a spark from that blazing light with which
Baghdad shone, floating, carrying the great message for all of humanity
at a time when it was floundering in pitch blackness for centuries
and swimming in the winds of deadly ignorance.
And you, O rising generation, prove to the world that you are worthy of faith
in that deep-rooted glory, for no matter how long the path of tyranny lasts, so work
to support your revolution in Algeria and everywhere in the great Arab homeland,
for it is a shame for the noble Arab to submit to the oppressive usurper.

And for the brothers, the martyrs, the believers, and these heroes who sacrificed
themselves in sacrifice, patriotism, and jihad, so they took the initiative that
lofty honor shall not be safe from harm until blood is shed on its sides
And you, O tyrannical and oppressive state, you used to desire
to make us hide the grief, pain, poverty, and sorrow, but
we rose against injustice and tyranny, so why do you not consider the pain today
and the crisis, and you exhale that bitterness and despair. Is this the
enslavement of this class that you adorn yourself with to show pride
and shame to the world and a target for warriors. You cast into our midst
fires and arrows of those who oppressed, [and they will know] which way they will return
Victory for Algeria, glory and eternity for the righteous martyrs in all
the Arab lands, and disgrace and slander to the tyrannical oppressors
And peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of God
