Budgets and Annual Reports, Ḥevrah Ḳadishah

Description

These are archival documents from the Ḥevrah Ḳadishah, the Burial Society, in Baghdad. Included is the 1956 annual budget. There is a request from the head of the Burial Society for financial support from the community at large. He presents records of its annual income and expenses, including lists of people who passed away: names, dates, and cost of burial. The lists have three categories of payment: self paid, minimum paid, and free burials for the poor. Also included are three pamphlets.
