under the government scale. The cost of living allowances were separated from the nominal salaries
at the time of appointing this school's staff on a case-by-case basis, in a discretionary manner only and not
on a specific basis. Therefore, we have disbursed half-salaries on the basis of the nominal
salaries after deducting the amount of the cost of living allowance prescribed according to the government scale,
which we usually list in the schedules sent to the Income Tax Directorate.
