To the most dear, beloved, and precious Dad, may God grant him peace, protect him, build him up, and sustain him in happiness and safety, Amen.
After greetings and inquiring about your precious presence, O my soul, O my dear one, you know that my heart is always with you,
and I always pray for you at every time and hour for goodness and blessing, and that God may gather us soon in intimacy
and joy, Amen. Furthermore, O my soul, you know that those who have debts do not sleep, nor eat, nor
enjoy themselves in this world. And I, O my soul, do not hide from your precious self that the debt upon me is great, and the peak of debt is not sleeping
neither night nor day, and always in worries and griefs. And you know that debt is a humiliation and that debt is an obsession,
and I want to be rid of them by whatever means. And in these days, debt is very difficult. And many people who were
in goodness and grace have come to an end. And I, O my soul, want you to help me in this calamity in which I am,
and you know that debt is worries and griefs. And I want you to help me with these debts,
and if God wills, God will reward you with good, and you know that debt is very difficult. And I want from you that
you help me with these debts, and if God wills, God will reward you with good, and you know that debt is very difficult,
and I want from you that you help me with these debts, and if God wills, God will reward you with good, and you know
that debt is very difficult, and I want from you that you help me with these debts, and if God wills, God will reward you.
To the honored, friend of my soul, the dear and exalted, the honorable Ezra Isaac Nissim, may God protect and sustain him, peace and blessing and all good forever, Amen.
After inquiring of your peace and welfare as is fitting for you. Your dear letter from the 22nd of Shevat past reached me in its time,
and my heart rejoiced greatly seeing that, thank God, there is peace for you and all your dear household, may the Lord live upon them, Amen. The sum of twenty-five
pounds sterling that you sent me via the bank reached me on the 14th of February and I received them on the
aforementioned day, and I sent you a receipt via the aforementioned bank, and I also sent you a letter on the aforementioned day and informed you of their receipt.
And from then until now I have not received any letter from you, nor have you informed me if you received my aforementioned letter or not.
And now I am informing you that on the 1st of February I sent you a letter and in it I informed you that I received your letter
from the 12th of January and in it you informed me that you sent me the sum of 25 pounds sterling via the bank, and I also informed you
in that letter that I received a letter from Mr. ⟦...⟧ from the 12th of January and in it he informed me that he sent me the sum of 25 pounds sterling
via the bank, and I also informed you that on the 1st of February I received the aforementioned sum of 25 pounds sterling and I sent you a receipt.
And so I thank you and Mr. ⟦...⟧ for all the good you have done for me, may the Lord repay your reward and be your help.
