We advise you to increase your efforts in the aforementioned lesson. We wish you success and prosperity.

In response to your comment written on the draft certificate for the teacher Shamoun Effendi Haqqir dated the 21st of this month,
the letter dated 4 / 8 / 1928 sent by the Director of the Teachers' College to the student Shamoun Effendi
Haqqir, whose copy is written above and attached to this certificate, clarifies to us that ⟦the decision⟧ for passing in the Arabic language
is (64). Since Shamoun Effendi has achieved this grade as mentioned in the exam paper dated June 28,
1928, the matter of considering him for a makeup exam in the Arabic language is - without a doubt - an obvious oversight, and therefore
I believe he should be considered as having passed the aforementioned exam.

Examination of Jewish School Teachers
The Honorable Distinguished Lawyer Anwar Effendi Shaul,
Secretary of the Jewish Community Administration.
To raise the level of education in our Jewish schools, our Lay Council decided in its session
held on August 13, 1933, to conduct an examination for the teachers employed by us who
do not hold a secondary school certificate, a primary teachers' college certificate, or their equivalent, in order to:
1) Verify their competencies
2) Encourage them to increase their knowledge
3) Select the most suitable among them to carry out teaching duties
Our Council has seen fit to task you both with organizing a draft regulation for this examination for approval
and to proceed accordingly.
⟦And⟧ I have firm hope that the preparation of this regulation will be completed as quickly as possible. I thank you both in advance.
