His Excellency the Vice President,
Greetings. We will receive other petitions of this type in which the applicants request, as the petitioner requested,
a reconsideration of the exams in which they believe their failure was unfair.
The Ministry of Education has solved this problem in this way:-
1- Every student has the right to request a reconsideration of the subject in which he believes he has been wronged in
the correction of his exam papers.
2- In order to prevent the proliferation of reconsideration requests, the student requesting reconsideration must provide a deposit of four
dinars for each subject he requests to be reconsidered. If it appears upon reconsideration that he is right in his request,
the amount is returned to him; otherwise, he loses it.
3- A single committee is formed <del>comprising</del> other than the <del>specialized</del> teachers (a teacher for each subject) to whom
the reconsideration of the exam papers is entrusted.
4- The remuneration for the committee members shall either be in the form of additional allowances (a flat fee
for each paper reconsidered) or from the revenues resulting from the reconsideration of the requests
returned to them. The first opinion is more likely because the second opinion may affect the course of the reconsiderations
in a fair manner, so all reconsideration requests would be accepted.
5- For a service like this, a letter must be directed to the Examination Committee with a proposal based on these foundations to form
a similar committee in the community schools.

Honorable Members of the Examination Committee
After greetings,
Many school students are approaching us claiming that their failure in the exam was
unfair. Therefore, I request your committee to study the following proposals and issue the necessary decision in this regard
and inform us of the result so that we may act accordingly:
1) A committee shall be formed from the best teachers of our schools to be entrusted with the task of re-evaluating the examination papers.
2) Every student has the right to request a re-evaluation of any examination paper, provided the request is submitted within
a limited period specified by the committee.
3) In order to prevent such requests from being submitted without valid reason, the student requesting a re-evaluation must provide
a cash deposit of a quarter dinar for each subject they request a re-evaluation for, to be refunded if it appears
in the result that they were right in their claim; otherwise, they shall lose it.
4) The committee's decision shall be final.
5) After the end of the specified period for accepting re-evaluation requests, the committee shall meet and audit the examination
papers, provided that the teacher who re-evaluates is not the same teacher who conducted the exam.
6) The teacher shall receive a flat fee determined by the committee for each paper they re-evaluate, to be paid to them
from the proceeds of the re-evaluations mentioned in paragraph (3).
