Reference to the deliberation that took place in your meeting at the Community Administration yesterday evening (Tuesday
June 5, 1934)
I set out below a copy of the agreed-upon resolutions regarding the final examinations for this year
and the summer vacation
1) Written examinations in the primary classes begin on July 1, 1934, and end on the 16th of it
2) Distribution of examination result papers takes place on the 17th and 18th of the mentioned month
3) Schools close on the morning of Thursday, July 19, 1934
4) The administration may begin conducting the oral examinations mentioned below one week before
the start of the written examinations, provided that this does not disrupt the school schedule (meaning that
students do not leave school before eleven o'clock in the morning)
5) The times for conducting secondary class examinations are determined by the respective school administration
6) All examinations for the preparatory classes, the first and second grades, and the subjects of history, geography
and objects in the third grade are conducted orally and practically; as for the rest of the classes, examinations are conducted in writing according to
the subjects
7) No more than thirty fils shall be collected from each student as an examination fee, provided that the student is supplied by
the administration with all necessary examination materials such as notebooks and stationery for writing answers, provided that the director considers reducing
this amount for students exempted from school fees
8) The administration must send the examination grades and results to the Council no later than four days
after the completion of each examination
9) A student in one of the primary classes who obtains less than fifty marks out of a hundred in two subjects
is considered to have a makeup exam, and the Alliance school is exempted from this
10) The administration must send a copy of the examination schedule to the Council three days before
the start
11) Schools open on the morning of Sunday, October 7, 1934
