Copy of the Decision
1 - At the invitation of the Council, Mr. Salim Qahtan, member of the Hospitals Committee, attended on behalf of
the mentioned committee. The secret letter of the Hospitals Committee numbered L/707 and dated 8/5/49 was read
regarding the amounts illegally remaining with Mr. Elias Samira, the administrator of Reema Hospital
Khadouri, amounting to (292/342 Dinars). After discussing the subject, it was decided as follows:-
A - To summon Elias Samira and request him to provide a guarantor for the amount immediately under a deed organized
directly by the Notary Public.
B - If the required guarantor is not provided, the President of the Physical Council or his deputy is authorized to file a complaint
to the competent authorities to recover the aforementioned amount.

promotion on 1/11/1947 and that the cost of living allowance she receives amounts to
6/250 Dinars, and she also receives an allowance of -/2 Dinars per month for
supervising the Dar al-Shifa clinic.

-1- We submit herewith a list of the amounts donated to Meir Elias Hospital from 1 / 4 / 1941 until
31 / 12 / 1941, amounting to 1477/500 Dinars, which were placed in account No. (2) at the Ottoman Bank
for your kind attention.
-2- You will also find enclosed another list of materials donated to the hospital, the estimated value of which is
252 Dinars, noting that these materials have been recorded as revenue in the store records.
-3- The second-class rooms, numbering (13) rooms including nurses' rooms, have been renovated and painted,
and a women's ward was opened by merging rooms 11 and 12, which were previously used as second-class rooms.
The costs for this amounted to 646/873 Dinars, as detailed in the attached list.
