In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
His Excellency, the Struggling Leader, the Majestic Mr. Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr, Respected
President of the Republic and Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council - Baghdad
Greetings and respect, and thereafter
I raise to your Excellency signs of veneration and glorification in appreciation of your care for the minorities and sects of all kinds in this homeland, including our sect, which you have covered with your kindness and assistance.
The venerable Revolutionary Command Council has thankfully abolished all exceptional laws regarding Iraqi Jews and equalized them with the rest of the citizens, and that is an achievement recorded for it with pride and honor.
I present to your Excellency that the Ministry of Interior issued, several months ago, special instructions to refer all financial transactions related to the members of our sect to the General Secretariat for Frozen Assets for the purpose of verifying that the person concerned retains Iraqi nationality, despite the fact that the person involved in the transaction holds an identity card for retaining Iraqi nationality. The General Secretariat for Frozen Assets, in turn, has started either to reject the request or refrain from answering, and by this, it closes all avenues of work in the face of the Iraqi Mosaic, without him being able to dispose of his money and affairs according to the provisions of the law, even for the purpose of managing his livelihood, as most members of our sect have been unemployed for years. For example, but not limited to, members of our sect are not allowed to perform the following transactions and actions:-
1 - Conducting any sale transactions for immovable property, mortgaging it, releasing the mortgage, and receiving the value of the mortgage or the compensation for expropriation and the interests resulting therefrom.
2 - Selling company shares, receiving their prices, and disposing of nationalized bonds.
3 - Stopping the sale of cars at the traffic police and transport departments.
4 - Preventing the sale of furniture and personal items.
5 - Stopping financial transactions at the notaries public, power of attorney, and the like.
6 - Inability to sell vacant plots of land despite the obligation to pay taxes on them.
The application of these instructions for a period of nearly a year has led to the freezing of the members of our sect and the restriction of their actions.
Since most of them are unemployed, it is difficult for them to manage their livelihood, even for those who own movable or immovable property, and their situation has become critical with no way out.

I, the petitioner Farha Yehuda Zubaida, wife of the detainee Shaul Baruch Amash, appeal to your living
conscience, as you are our refuge and the refuge of the oppressed, to return my husband to me and to his children.
Mr. President
On 10/11/1972, at one-thirty in the afternoon, a member of the
Military Intelligence came to our house and requested my husband for a testimony, and from that date until now he has not returned
and we know nothing of his fate despite the efforts I have made.
Mr. President
I appeal to your Excellency and hope from your paternal mercy that you listen to my weak voice and the voice of my children
and the voice of his blind elderly father and his old mother who have no one, and we have no helper other than him, and we have no one to turn to
except you. I ask for your paternal mercy to order his release and return him to us, and God does not waste your reward and will grant you victory.

Mr. President
On 10/14/1972, he was arrested by one of the security agencies, and after
one week, a government committee arrived at his place of business in Khan Dalla in broad daylight
in front of the merchants, opened his commercial office, took all his savings, money, and records, and opened his safe
and took what was inside, then after that, they closed the room and sealed it.
And more than a month ago, a second committee arrived from the General Secretariat for Frozen Assets
and broke the door of the same commercial office and inventoried the furniture and other items found therein.
Throughout this period, we have known nothing of my husband's fate despite all the efforts we have made.
I appeal to your Excellency and hope from your human mercies that you listen to my weak voice and the voices
of his young children who have no one but their father and your fatherly mercy, and that you order his release and return
