In order to develop national awareness among our dear female and male students, we recommend the necessity of raising the flag every Thursday morning
in the school yard, if available. You will find below some specific information regarding the process of raising and lowering the flag.
1- The task of raising and lowering the flag is carried out by the Scout, Guide, or Brownie teams in the school in their official
scout uniforms.
2- A physical education teacher (male or female) in the school supervises the flag-raising process.
3- All students stand in an orderly fashion around the flag, and after the flag-raising process is completed, the male and female students sing
an enthusiastic national anthem.
4- The flag is lowered at the end of lessons, and it is not required for students to stand around the flag; three Scouts,
Guides, or Brownies are sufficient to perform the task of lowering the flag.

Subject / Paper Measurements
Following our letter number 39408 on 3 / 10 / 1971, we would like to clarify to all concerned parties regarding
importing paper according to standard specifications No. A1, which is of great benefit from the material and formal aspects
and commercial business, and it came after we confirmed that the use of the sizes fixed in the standard specifications No.
12 and 13 will save huge sums as a result of importing paper in the mentioned sizes and using it as a basis for all papers
of correspondence and official and semi-official receipts. It is also possible to change all official and semi-
official and private publications according to the measurements shown in international standard specifications No. 12 and 13.
Therefore, for the sake of the public interest and for our importation of paper according to specifications, we see that the time has become suitable
for their use, especially after the measurements have become circulated among all large and advanced countries. Therefore, we hope
for attention to the subject and its dissemination to all state agencies and to inform us ⟦line⟧

The prescribed religious education curriculum addresses the importance of religious education in life, then the curriculum objectives
and its methodology, then the teacher and their guidance, and then the materials and vocabulary of the curriculum.
The curriculum materials and vocabulary include the Holy Quran, Hadith, Ethics, Biographies and Stories, Acts of Worship
and Rulings. The curriculum also mandates the study of the parts (('Amma and Tabarak)) of the Holy Quran in the primary stage,
and mandates in the intermediate stage the study of all parts of the Holy Quran. In the secondary stage, it mandates the study of
nine parts starting from Surat Al-Baqarah. Although the curriculum defines the general and detailed lines that must be
followed and acted upon, we still receive many letters and reports indicating that the teachers and
instructors of the subject limit themselves to the prescribed book only, neglecting the study of the Holy Quran, its interpretation, and other aspects
stipulated by the curriculum.
While we hope for more interest in teaching religious education and commitment to the curriculum instructions -
and its requirements, we would like to remind our colleagues, members of the teaching staff, that religion is an integral part of the heritage and civilization
of this nation and that it is an effective factor in building the national and moral personality and the self-controls of humanity.
Humanity, we hope to complete this letter of ours to all schools affiliated with you to act accordingly and commit to implementation.

(( Birth of the Ba'ath ))
Lyrics / Saadi Al-Obaidi - Composition / Farouk Hilal
The thunder roared and the dawn of the Ba'ath appeared, break the chains, the morning has risen
In you, O April, the banners of the newborn fluttered in a free and new horizon
Refrain
So we set off and we exploded
One Arab nation with an eternal message
In you, O April, we have achieved our goal
And in you, we cleared the swarms of darkness
For the sunrise of the Ba'ath is victory and peace
Refrain
The birth of the Ba'ath is sacrifice and redemption
And pride marched in the procession of glory
The Ba'ath struggled, so be the strong ones
Refrain
