Punishment for Students
In view of the actions of the students:
1 - Sami Baruch Shamash | 5 - Ghazi Daoud Haskeel
2 - Haskeel (Kamal) Ibrahim | 6 - Sabah Yaqub Rashti
3 - Fuad Khadouri Salem | 7 - Sabah Elias Aqirab
4 - Nassim (Latif) Victor |
Who are from the fourth preparatory grade, for acts disturbing the order in the lesson of Mr. Muhammad Hassan al-Souri
On Tuesday, 7/2/1956, the Discipline Committee met under the chairmanship of the school principal
On Tuesday, 14/2/956, and decided the following:
First - Imposing the penalty of temporary expulsion for a period of two weeks on each of:
(1) Sami Baruch Shamash, (2) Haskeel (Kamal) Ibrahim, (3) Fuad Khadouri Salem.
Starting from the morning of Tuesday, 14/2/956. The committee also decided to deduct twenty
points from the conduct average of each of these three students because they were the primary causes
of the acts disturbing the order that occurred in the class on that day and on many occasions in the past,
but in view of the harm that depriving them of school attendance would cause, as it leads to depriving them
from participating in the mid-year exam, and in view of the pleas of their parents and out of mercy for them, it has
been decided to suspend the execution of the first part of the penalty and suffice with deducting twenty points from their conduct average.
Second - The committee also decided to impose the penalty of a recorded reprimand with a deduction of ten points from the conduct average of each of:
(1) Nassim (Latif) Victor, (2) Ghazi Daoud Haskeel, (3) Sabah Yaqub Rashti, (4) Sabah
Elias Aqirab.
Note that the good conduct of the students Sabah Yaqub Rashti and Sabah Elias Aqirab in the
past was taken into account, and no violation has been issued by them since the beginning of this school year until now, so their
punishment was mitigated.
Third - Twenty points were previously deducted from the conduct average of the student Fuad Khadouri Salem on 16/11/955
and accordingly, the total points deducted from his conduct average has reached forty points, and it
was also previously deducted from the conduct average of the student Nassim (Latif) Victor five points on
4/11/955 and accordingly, the total points deducted from his conduct average has reached fifteen
points.
A student is considered to have failed his grade if 51% or more is deducted from his conduct points.
The school administration will not hesitate to impose harsher penalties against these students in the future
should any act disturbing the order occur from them.
