Punishment for Students
In view of the students:
1- Sami Barouch Shamash 5- Ghazi Dawood Hesqail
2- Hesqail (Kamal) Ibrahim 6- Sabah Yaqoub Rashti
3- Fuad Khedhouri Salem 7- Sabah Elias Aqaib
4- Nassim (Latif) Victor
Who are from the fourth secondary class, performing acts that disrupted order during Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Souri's lesson
On Tuesday, 7 / 2 / 1956, the Disciplinary Committee met under the chairmanship of the school director
On Tuesday, 14 / 2 / 1956, and decided the following:
First - Imposing the penalty of temporary expulsion for two weeks on each of:
(1) Sami Barouch Shamash, (2) Hesqail (Kamal) Ibrahim, (3) Fuad Khedhouri Salem.
Effective from the morning of Tuesday, 14 / 2 / 1956. The committee also decided to deduct twenty
degrees from the conduct average of each of these three students because they were the primary causes
of the acts disrupting order that occurred in the class on that day and on many occasions in the past,
but in view of the harm that depriving them of attending school would cause, as it leads to depriving them
from participating in the mid-year examination, and in view of the pleas of their parents and out of mercy for them, it was
decided to suspend the execution of the first part of the punishment and suffice with deducting twenty degrees from their conduct average.
Second - The committee also decided to impose the penalty of registered reprimand with the deduction of ten degrees from the conduct average of each of:
(1) Nassim (Latif) Victor, (2) Ghazi Dawood Hesqail, (3) Sabah Yaqoub Rashti, (4) Sabah
Elias Aqaib.
Noting that the good conduct of the students Sabah Yaqoub Rashti and Sabah Elias Aqaib was taken into account
previously, and that no violation had been issued by them since the beginning of this academic year until now, so their
punishment was lightened.
Third - Twenty degrees had previously been deducted from the conduct average of student Fuad Khedhouri Salem on 16 / 11 / 955
and accordingly, the total degrees deducted from his conduct average have reached forty degrees. Also,
five degrees had previously been deducted from the conduct average of student Nassim (Latif) Victor on
4 / 11 / 955, and accordingly, the total degrees deducted from his conduct average have reached fifteen
degrees.
Furthermore, a student is considered failing in his class if 51% or more is deducted from his conduct grades.
The school administration will not hesitate to impose harsher punishments against these students in the future
should any act disrupting order proceed from them.
