Greetings,
Further to our letter No. T/3011/53 dated 6 / 5 / 1953, and with reference to the verbal
discussion held on 28 / 6 / 1953.
Our leasing of the aforementioned building to your respected superintendency for the past two years at the previous rent was
merely out of leniency, as the aforementioned annual rent is much lower than it should be.
In view of an inquiry from a certain party to lease the aforementioned building for an annual rent exceeding double
the past year's rent, amounting to eight hundred Dinars annually, and since the rent offered by that party is
the true rent for the aforementioned building, considering its location, size, and facilities, this Presidency cannot
lease the aforementioned building to your respected superintendency for the year starting 21 / 6 / 1953 for less than 1500/000 Dinars
annually (one thousand five hundred Dinars annually).
We request that you state your opinion regarding acceptance or refusal within eight days from this date; otherwise, we will be forced to lease it
to that party.
Please accept our highest respect.
