In response to your letter No. 52/2463 dated 20/4/1952 and with reference to the discussions that
took place between us, the Supervision of Iranian Schools in Iraq offers its sincere thanks for your kind agreement to renew
the lease for the Shamash School building for the coming year starting from 22/6/1952, in accordance with the conditions listed
in the old contract certified by the notary public under number 5054 dated 20/6/951. Please
kindly agree officially by a special letter to renew the lease contract.
As for the coming years, when the financial hardship eases and the Supervision obtains a sufficient budget, it will consider
an increase in the rental fees as satisfies both parties. In conclusion, please accept our highest respect. -

supervision, dated 1 / 6 / 1951, and certified by the Notary Public of North Baghdad under general number 1027
and dated 20 / 6 / 1951.
Since your lease for the Shamash School building expires on June 21, 1952, please send
a representative to agree with them on the renewal of the lease contract and its terms.

Defendant - Yusuf Shlomo Shamash, residing in the Al-Senak neighborhood, trustee of the Shamash School endowments.
The defendant is the trustee of the Shamash School endowments pursuant to the deed of trusteeship issued by your
respected court under number 94 / 1936 dated July 1, 1936. The aforementioned trustee is unable to manage
the affairs of the mentioned endowment due to his old age, and his son Saleh is outside Iraq, and has recently
acquired a foreign nationality. Fearing the loss of the endowment, I request the defendant be summoned to court, dismissed from the trusteeship, and the President of
the Lay Council, his deputy, or his successor be appointed as the trustee of the aforementioned endowments.
