Superintendency of Iranian Schools in Iraq
Greetings,
Further to our letter No. T/3011/53 dated 6 / 5 / 1953, and with reference to the verbal
discussion held on 28 / 6 / 1953.
Our leasing of the aforementioned building to your respected superintendency for the past two years at the previous rent was
merely out of leniency, as the aforementioned annual rent is much lower than it should be.
In view of an inquiry from a certain party to lease the aforementioned building for an annual rent exceeding double
the past year's rent, amounting to eight hundred Dinars annually, and since the rent offered by that party is
the true rent for the aforementioned building, considering its location, size, and facilities, this Presidency cannot
lease the aforementioned building to your respected superintendency for the year starting 21 / 6 / 1953 for less than 1500/000 Dinars
annually (one thousand five hundred Dinars annually).
We request that you state your opinion regarding acceptance or refusal within eight days from this date; otherwise, we will be forced to lease it
to that party.
Please accept our highest respect.

Administrative Order
Further to our administrative order No. C/943/52 dated 27 / 8 / 1952.
1- Due to the inability of the contractor Abdul Jabbar Alwan to construct a concrete barrier to prevent water leakage from the latrine vault, and due to the presence of
seepage water in the mentioned vault which makes it impossible to construct the mentioned barrier, we have decided to cancel the contract concluded with him and conduct the final accounting for
the work he has performed so far at Shamash School.
2- Since the prevention of water leakage can be carried out from the side of the external wall, we have approved awarding the work to Master
Alwan Mahmoud to perform the following:-
A- Construct a barrier of cement and ⟦gravel/mortar⟧ with a length of 12 meters, a height of one meter, and a depth of three inches from the side of the outer wall.
B- Plastering the wall for two layers above that.
C- Twenty Dinars shall be paid to Master Alwan for the cost of the work for constructing the barrier and the mentioned plastering.
