We, we, more than all people, from the greatness of our pride in your name,
You were, O my masters, the progeny of the holy ones, the righteous, those famous in
their biographies, whose name we mention on every mouth; you were a lamp for all
the world that is in darkness. It is not hidden from your excellencies what we are in,
we who have become few, even the holy ones, the righteous, from those who were,
You, O my masters, in the sanctuary, in the religion, in every time you were,
We, the people of Iraq, who are in Iraq, in conduct, we are in the sanctuary,
Because the sanctuary which is in Iraq, in Iraq, which will be in
for us, we are in conduct, we are in the sanctuary which will be in the religion,
So I hope from you conduct with me in all that will be in the holy religion,
Because the religion in the religion, which is the holy religion, which will be
for you in the conduct of the sanctuary in every time which will be in

A gift to His Majesty
His Excellency the President of the respected Lay Council
After greetings and respect
I have learned that the marriage of His Majesty the Great King will take place soon and that the senior
men of Iraq and official bodies are preparing to provide gifts worthy of His Majesty's high status
on this occasion. Therefore, I have seen fit to suggest to your esteemed council that the community's congratulations
to His Majesty on his auspicious marriage be in the form of a gift worth no less than thirty dinars, expressing
the sincere loyalty held for the Royal Throne in the hearts of the members of our Israelite community.
What I know of your esteemed council's wisdom and keenness for the community's reputation
has prompted me to submit this proposal, which I have no doubt will receive from you the encouragement it
deserves. I pray to God to grant you success in the future as He granted you success in the past in serving this
dear community. May you remain in complete respect,

His Excellency, the Respected President of the Jewish Community
We have learned that the Director of the Alliance Schools in Baghdad has approached the Directorate of Public Health
to obtain a permit for a German doctor to work at the Meir Elias Hospital.
Our Lay Council did not consider obtaining such a permit in view of what
was stated in the letter from the Directorate of Public Health No. 11403 dated 25 Jumada al-Awwal 1352 and
16 / 9 / 933, stating that it did not see a necessity to employ anyone other than Dr. Sustman in the hospital, and
it is not hidden from your Excellency that the action of the aforementioned Director was outside of his duties, which are the management of the Alliance
schools and nothing else. Therefore, I hope you will kindly inform the Directorate of Public Health that the application
made by the aforementioned Director was entirely without the knowledge of the Council. With respect to your Excellency.
