Warning via the Notary Public of Baghdad to Dr. Yaqub Ishaq Nassim, currently residing in
Amara, from his wife Karjiya Haroun Shamshara'
More than two years ago, you obtained permission from the Israelite Spiritual Court
in Baghdad to marry a woman other than me. At the ⟦time⟧ the aforementioned court
granted you this permission, it was based on the claim that I had refused to travel
with you to Amara.
Since I am now ready to join you and fulfill all my marital duties
towards you, and to prevent any injustice or loss of rights that might befall me if you

from all the best and finest properties and acquisitions that I have under all the heavens, which I have acquired or which I shall acquire in the future, properties that have
guarantee and those that do not have guarantee; all of them shall be responsible and serve as a guarantee to pay from them this marriage contract, this dowry,
and this addition, and even from the cloak on my shoulders, in my life and in my death, from this day and forever. And the responsibility for this marriage contract,
this dowry, and this addition, Mr. Eliyahu our groom took upon himself according to the rigor of all marriage contracts customary for the daughters of
