Conditions for Admission to Preparatory, Intermediate, and Primary Schools
1 - Admission to the first intermediate grade depends on passing the general examination for primary studies, and admission to the fourth preparatory grade depends on passing the general examination for intermediate studies. A student who holds a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education equivalent to the level of study they wish to enter shall be accepted.
2 - For admission to the first grade of primary schools, the student must have entered their seventh year of age and not exceed thirteen years.
3 - The student must be known for good character and not convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. The school may request a certificate to that effect from the previous school, the Mukhtar, or the police, as determined by the principal.
4 - The student must not have exceeded twenty years of age to enter the fourth preparatory grade, and sixteen years to enter the first intermediate grade. Students of evening schools are exempted from this.
