district - Al-Faysaliyah - within the Diwaniyah Governorate, named Shaul, and he has passed away.
He has debts owed by some people amounting to nearly a dinar, and we searched in Baghdad
for his heirs but found no trace of them. We request your Eminence to investigate this
and inform us to know the fate of this case. Secondly, a dispute has occurred between a group
of Muslims and Israelites, so we request you to inform us about the method of the oath
which an Israelite avoids if he intends to lie. In truth,
this request is burdensome relative to your precious time. May you remain in glory.

In view of the fact that the Sharia Court in Baghdad has been decided to be moved from its current building
in the Al-Saray neighborhood to the Qishla building on the Rusafa side, and since it is not possible
at the present time to move the furniture of the aforementioned court due to the new building not being completely
dry, and since the court remaining in the current building would cause confusion
in the course of judicial and administrative work, and in order to ensure the regular flow of work in the
aforementioned court, it has been decided to suspend official working hours therein starting from tomorrow, Tuesday, corresponding to
12/28/1954 until Thursday, corresponding to 12/30/1954, provided that work resumes
